Dan Eubanks is a 31 year resident of DeSoto County. He is a Pastor, Businessman, Husband, Father, a Conservative and a Republican, and since 2016, Mississippi's State Representative for District 25. Dan is a conservative Christian, who believes in fiscal responsibility, limited government, states' rights, education and tax reform, traditional family values, the Right to Life, the protection of our religious and civil liberties, and representative transparency and cooperation. Dan has a deep love for Mississippi, DeSoto County, and for all of his neighbors in his home District of 25. He is a proven leader, honest, moral, full of integrity, and extremely hard working. He is doing his best to make his entire district proud, while working tirelessly (with and for them) to make Mississippi the greatest state in the Nation. District 74, Rankin County
Come hear Lee Yancey speak about his candidacy for Representative of the MS House District 74 (map) Rankin County, Mississippi. See his website and Facebook page.
Lee Yancey has served as Pastor of Bay Springs Baptist Church in Jasper County from 2013-2018. He has been an investment advisor with Woodridge Capital/Element Wealth since 2008.
Yancey was elected to the MS State Senate (2008-2012) serving the 20th district which was comprised of approximately 75,000 people in portions of Madison and Rankin Counties. Lee served as Vice Chairman of the Highways and Transportation Committee and as a member of the following committees: Code, Drug Policy, Education, Ethics, Finance, Insurance, Judiciary A, and Public Health and Welfare.
Yancey received A ratings (Business Champion) all four years from BIPEC, the Key to the City of Flowood in 2009, and was a Charter member of the Mississippi National Guard Legislative Caucus. In 2013, Gov. Phil Bryant appointed Yancey to a five year term on the Mississippi State Personnel Board where he served as Chairman of the Board from 2017-2018.
Prior to his election to the Mississippi Senate, Yancey served as Senior Consultant for the Christian Action Commission of the Mississippi Baptist Convention. He was chosen as the 2006 co-Pro-Lifer of the Year for his efforts to get the Choose Life car tag passed through the legislature. Yancey authored three youth ministry curricula and wrote frequent articles for the Baptist Record newspaper.
He is a former member of the Rankin County Republican Executive Committee (2002-2006, 2012-2013). His only opponent is Democrat Jason McCarty of Brandon and they will face off in the general election in November.
He earned a B.A. in Religion from Mississippi College in 1991, a Master of Divinity (1993). He has been married to his wife Courtney for 26 years and they have two adult children. The Yancey family has lived in Brandon since 2001. They attend Pinelake Church in Flowood.

Andy Gipson is the newly appointed MS Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce since April 2018. Gipson will serve as the eighth Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, replacing Cindy Hyde-Smith. Gipson will carry out the remainder of Hyde-Smith's term.
As a farmer, lawyer, pastor and former State Representative of House District 77 (parts of Simpson and Rankin counties), Gipson looks forward to working with everyone in Mississippi to promote, market and strengthen agriculture and commerce in the state.
Gibson recently completed a TOUR around Mississippi "to get to know our farmers and their issues, challenges and opportunities," he said. At our meeting, he will discuss his findings.
